Take the A14 Bologna-Taranto motorway to the Bari Nord exit. Continue on the SS100 towards Taranto, then merge onto the SS7 Via Appia towards Castellaneta/Matera and follow the local signs for Contrada Caccamone.

From the South / Ionian Coast
From the SS106 Jonica (Reggio Calabria - Taranto), turn off at Palagiano or Chiatona and merge onto the SS7 Via Appia towards Castellaneta.

From the West (Basilicata / Matera)
Take the SS7 Via Appia towards Taranto, cross the regional border and continue towards Castellaneta.
